The Aquasheet 2872 features a 10-inch rainhead designed to provide broad overhead coverage. Its integrated 7-inch-wide waterfall chute produces a smooth sheet of cascading water, offering an alternative to the traditional rainfall experience.
Both water functions have separate inlets and connect to a compatible two-port shower valve. This arrangement allows the rainfall and waterfall outlets to be controlled through the selected valve and trim system. The required shower valve and control trim are sold separately.
Finished in polished chrome, the Aquasheet combines reflective surfaces with clean architectural lines. Its streamlined profile complements modern bathroom fixtures, making it a distinctive addition to custom showers finished in porcelain tile, natural stone, or other premium materials.
A concealed air-induction system introduces air into the water stream, helping create a fuller spray while supporting efficient water use. Aquabrass specifies a rated flow of 2.5 gallons per minute for this dual-function fixture.
The Wall Mount Rain Shower includes a concealed wall rough-in with two separate 1/2-inch NPT female water connections. These connections supply the rainfall and waterfall functions independently through the compatible shower plumbing.
The fixture projects approximately 20-5/8 inches from the finished wall and measures 10-5/8 inches wide. Its rainhead has a thickness of 1-5/8 inches, creating a substantial overhead shower feature without requiring a separate ceiling-mounted rainhead.
The included rough-in must be installed at the manufacturer-specified depth of exactly 1-7/8 inches. Unlike adjustable rough-in assemblies, this installation requires careful positioning relative to the intended finished wall surface.
Suitable structural support behind the shower wall is recommended to secure the assembly. Mounting screws are included, and the concealed connections should be installed and tested before waterproofing and decorative wall finishes are completed.
The dual-function design provides flexibility when planning a customized shower. The rainfall spray offers broad coverage, while the waterfall chute creates a concentrated cascading stream. The available operating combinations depend on the compatible two-port shower valve and control trim selected for the installation.
