Trey Black Metal & Glass Console Table - Mercana

Description
Introduce contemporary sophistication and practical display space into your home with the Trey Black Metal & Glass Console Table by Mercana. Featuring a beautifully crafted coal-black iron frame, three clear glass tiers, and a streamlined rectangular silhouette, this distinctive furniture piece combines architectural character with everyday functionality. Its generous proportions make it an attractive addition to living rooms, entryways, hallways, and thoughtfully furnished modern interiors.

The Trey celebrates minimalist furniture design through its clean lines and carefully coordinated materials. Its combination of dark metal and transparent glass creates an elegant balance between strong architectural detailing and visual openness.

A defining feature of this Black Glass Console Table is its handmade iron construction. Square metal tubing forms a structured frame, while the coal-black finish introduces sophisticated contrast against the clear glass surfaces.

The polished, lacquer-coated metal provides a refined appearance that coordinates beautifully with contemporary furniture, neutral upholstery, and decorative accessories.

Unlike conventional wooden consoles with enclosed storage, the Trey features three transparent glass tiers. These open surfaces provide generous display space while allowing surrounding colours and materials to remain visible.

The clear glass creates an airy appearance, making the console particularly appealing for interiors where substantial furniture should maintain a light, uncluttered aesthetic.

Each removable glass panel is supported by metal pins, providing convenient access during assembly and maintenance. Approximately 11.25 inches between shelves accommodates decorative objects, books, and everyday accessories.

The console supports a maximum weight of 75 pounds per surface, with an overall listed capacity of 225 pounds. These specifications provide useful guidance when arranging decorative items and household essentials.

Measuring 72 inches wide, 16.3 inches deep, and 30 inches high, the Trey offers substantial display space with a relatively narrow profile. Its generous width makes it particularly suitable for spacious entryways, living room walls, and placement behind appropriately sized sofas.

In a contemporary entryway, position this Black Glass Console Table beneath an oversized decorative mirror or carefully selected artwork. Style the upper surface with an elegant lamp, sculptural vase, and decorative tray to create a welcoming first impression.

For a sophisticated living room arrangement, place the Trey behind a sofa or against an open wall. Its black metal frame complements cream upholstery, travertine coffee tables, and contemporary artwork.

The lower glass tiers provide additional display space for books, ceramics, decorative baskets, and carefully arranged accessories.

The console also works beautifully in a hallway, where its transparent construction helps maintain visual openness while providing useful surface space.

In a modern office or lounge, the Trey introduces architectural character while offering an elegant platform for decorative objects and personal collections.

Its finished back allows flexible placement within open-concept interiors. Felt floor protection pads provide a practical finishing detail beneath the structure.

The Trey requires full assembly, with two people recommended and an estimated assembly time of approximately 20 minutes. A 4mm Allen key is included, and no additional tools are required.

Designed for indoor residential use, the console can also be paired with matching Trey coffee and accent tables for a coordinated arrangement.

For maintenance, gently clean the glass surfaces with a suitable glass cleaner and soft cloth. Avoid abrasive products that could damage the lacquer-coated iron finish.

Available from Canadian Renovation Superstore, the Trey Black Glass Console Table by Mercana combines durable iron construction, three elegant glass tiers, and timeless contemporary styling.
