Marilyn 48" Botticino Marble Dining Table - Mercana
Description
Introduce natural elegance and sculptural warmth into your dining space with the Marilyn 48" Botticino Marble Dining Table. Handmade with genuine Botticino marble and solid mango wood, this Botticino Marble Dining Table combines a polished cream and beige stone tabletop with a beautifully textured light brown pedestal, creating an inviting centrepiece for everyday dining and entertaining.
The genuine Botticino marble surface features warm cream and beige tones, delicate mineral markings, and naturally occurring veining. Each slab displays individual variations in colour and pattern, ensuring every Marilyn table has its own distinctive appearance.
A polished finish highlights the natural character of the stone, creating a refined surface that complements the table's softly textured wooden base. The combination of warm marble and light brown wood brings a sophisticated, organic quality to the dining room.
Supporting the substantial tabletop is a sculptural pedestal crafted from solid mango wood. Its fine sandblasted texture enhances the natural grain, while the light brown finish introduces warmth without competing with the marble's distinctive markings.
The centrally positioned pedestal creates an architectural silhouette while eliminating conventional corner legs. This arrangement provides comfortable legroom and allows dining chairs to be positioned around the table with greater flexibility.
Measuring 48 inches in diameter and 30 inches high, this Botticino Marble Dining Table comfortably accommodates up to four people. Its circular design encourages conversation, making it suitable for family meals, intimate gatherings, and relaxed entertaining.
The round tabletop provides space for dinnerware, serving pieces, and decorative centrepieces. Its balanced proportions make the Marilyn particularly appealing for breakfast areas, condominium dining rooms, open-concept kitchens, and smaller formal dining spaces.
The fixed, non-extendable marble tabletop measures approximately 1.75 inches thick, giving the table a substantial appearance. Its smooth stone surface contrasts beautifully with the textured wood pedestal beneath.
Mercana identifies the marble surface as water-resistant and scratch-resistant. However, natural Botticino marble is not classified as stain-resistant, so spills should be cleaned promptly to help preserve its appearance.
Coasters, placemats, and trivets are recommended for everyday dining. Appropriate natural stone care is especially important when serving acidic foods or strongly coloured beverages that may affect the marble's finish.
The table has a manufacturer-specified overall weight capacity of 125 pounds. Felt floor protection pads beneath the pedestal help reduce direct contact with suitable flooring surfaces.
Weighing approximately 228.38 pounds, the Marilyn requires careful handling during delivery and installation. Its removable pedestal allows the components to be assembled after reaching the intended dining location.
Mercana recommends two-person assembly and estimates approximately 15 minutes for completion. A 5mm Allen key is included, with no additional tools required. Power tools should be avoided during installation.
Designed for indoor residential use, the Marilyn pairs beautifully with cream upholstered chairs, natural wood flooring, warm neutral finishes, and understated metallic accents. Mercana provides a two-year manufacturer warranty, subject to its applicable terms.
