Welborn 72" Dark Brown Mango Wood Dining Table - Mercana
Description
Create a warm and sophisticated setting for everyday meals with the Welborn 72" Dark Brown Mango Wood Dining Table. Handmade entirely from solid mango wood, this Mango Wood Dining Table combines a rich dark brown finish with a streamlined rectangular tabletop and substantial geometric legs, bringing natural character and architectural elegance into your dining space.
The Welborn showcases the distinctive grain patterns and organic tonal variations of genuine mango wood. Its deep brown finish enhances the natural beauty of the material, creating a refined appearance that complements both warm and neutral interiors.
Unlike the finely sandblasted light brown version, this dark brown Welborn features a smooth wood surface. The cleaner finish highlights the table's modern silhouette while allowing subtle variations in the solid wood to remain visible.
Crafted from 100% solid kiln-dried mango wood, the tabletop and legs share the same rich finish. Kiln-drying helps improve the wood's dimensional stability, supporting the table's substantial construction and intended residential use.
The rectangular tabletop rests upon four geometric wooden legs, creating a distinctive architectural profile. Their substantial proportions provide visual balance while maintaining a clean design that works beautifully with a variety of dining chair styles.
Measuring 72 inches long, 40 inches wide, and 30 inches high, this Mango Wood Dining Table comfortably accommodates up to six people. Its generous surface provides room for dinnerware, serving dishes, and decorative centrepieces during family meals and special gatherings.
The balanced dimensions make the Welborn particularly suitable for dining rooms and open-concept living areas where generous seating is desired without requiring an oversized table.
Its rectangular configuration encourages an inviting dining arrangement, while the thoughtfully positioned legs provide comfortable space for chairs. The table offers approximately 29 inches of floor-to-apron clearance, an important consideration when selecting seating.
The fixed, non-extendable tabletop measures approximately one inch thick. With no extension leaves required, the Welborn maintains its streamlined appearance and consistent dining surface throughout everyday use.
Mercana identifies the tabletop as water-resistant, stain-resistant, and scratch-resistant. These characteristics provide practical protection for regular residential dining, although appropriate furniture care remains important for maintaining the finish.
Spills should be cleaned promptly, and placemats or trivets are recommended when serving meals. These simple precautions help protect the natural wood surface and preserve its appearance over time.
The table has a manufacturer-specified overall and tabletop weight capacity of 300 pounds. Its solid mango wood construction creates a substantial foundation for everyday dining and entertaining.
Weighing approximately 104.82 pounds, the Welborn features removable legs for assembly after delivery. Mercana recommends two-person installation and estimates approximately 15–20 minutes for completion.
A 5mm Allen key is included, with no additional tools required. Power tools should be avoided during assembly to help protect the furniture components and hardware.
Designed for indoor residential use, the Welborn pairs beautifully with upholstered, solid wood, or metal dining chairs. Its versatile design complements modern, transitional, and modern farmhouse interiors. Mercana provides a two-year manufacturer warranty, subject to its applicable terms.
