The MiamiBox01G features a 2-way non-shared diverter, allowing users to switch between the overhead rainhead and handshower according to their preferred showering experience. Because this is a non-shared configuration, only one shower outlet operates at a time. This distinguishes the MiamiBox01G from the shared MiamiBox01 configuration, which permits both shower outlets to operate simultaneously.
A generously sized 14-inch by 8-inch rectangular ABS rainhead delivers broad overhead water coverage for a relaxing rainfall-style shower experience. Its elongated rectangular profile works beautifully with the square control trim and waterway, giving the system a clean architectural appearance suited to modern bathrooms and custom tiled showers.
The Modern Bathroom Shower Kit provides two installation options for positioning the overhead rainhead. An 18-inch round wall-mount shower arm with a square flange is included for wall installation. Alternatively, the supplied 4-inch round ceiling-mount shower arm allows the rainhead to be installed directly overhead when a ceiling-mounted configuration better complements the bathroom layout.
For additional versatility, the MiamiBox01G includes a three-function push-button handshower offering rain, mist, and jet spray settings. These different settings provide flexibility for comfortable everyday showering and more targeted rinsing. The handshower is paired with a 28-inch overall shower rail and adjustable square waterway, creating a streamlined installation while keeping the handshower conveniently accessible.
The visible control assembly features solid brass square trim, reinforcing the clean geometric styling of the system. A square handle set is included along with an additional round handle set, allowing one handle style to be selected during installation. This gives homeowners and designers additional flexibility when coordinating the shower with surrounding fixtures and bathroom hardware.
The polished nickel finish provides a refined reflective surface with a subtly warmer undertone than polished chrome. It coordinates beautifully with marble-look porcelain, natural stone, quartz, warm wood cabinetry, glass shower enclosures, and sophisticated neutral colour palettes. Please note that the required Aquabrass T12123 Uniplex thermostatic rough-in valve is sold separately and must be purchased separately to complete the installation. Due to the concealed plumbing, diverter configuration, and multiple shower components, professional installation by a licensed plumber is strongly recommended.
