The MiamiBox01 is built around a 2-way shared-function diverter, providing flexibility over how the two shower outlets are used. The overhead rainhead and handshower can operate independently for everyday showering or simultaneously when both outlets are desired. This shared configuration creates a more versatile shower experience while keeping the controls organized within a clean, coordinated system.
A generously proportioned 14-inch by 8-inch rectangular ABS rainhead provides broad overhead water coverage. Its elongated geometric shape complements the square control trim and waterway while creating the strong architectural appearance that makes this system particularly well suited to modern bathrooms.
Two different rainhead installation configurations are included with the Modern Black Shower Kit. For wall mounting, Aquabrass provides an 18-inch round shower arm with a square shower arm flange. A 4-inch round ceiling-mount shower arm is also supplied, allowing the rainhead to be positioned directly overhead when ceiling installation better suits the bathroom layout.
A three-function push-button handshower provides additional flexibility for everyday use and targeted rinsing. Users can select between rain, mist, and jet spray settings depending on their preference. The handshower is paired with a 28-inch overall shower rail and an adjustable square waterway, creating a streamlined installation while keeping the handshower conveniently positioned within the shower.
The visible control assembly features solid brass square trim, reinforcing the clean geometric character of the system. A square handle set is included, along with an additional round handle set, allowing one of the two handle styles to be selected during installation. This gives the homeowner or designer greater flexibility when coordinating the system with surrounding bathroom fixtures.
The black finish is one of the defining characteristics of this system. Please note that the required Aquabrass T12123 Uniplex thermostatic rough-in valve is sold separately and must be purchased separately for proper installation and operation. Due to the concealed plumbing, shared diverter, and multiple water outlets, professional installation by a licensed plumber is strongly recommended.
