The MiamiBox02 features a 3-way shared-function diverter that controls the overhead rainhead, handshower, and tub spout. Its shared-function design provides flexible control over the connected water outlets, creating a versatile system for a complete North American-style bathtub and shower installation.
A generously sized 14-inch by 8-inch rectangular ABS rainhead provides broad overhead water coverage for a relaxing rainfall-style shower experience. Its elongated rectangular profile complements the square control trim, waterway, and tub spout, creating the clean architectural appearance that makes this system especially well suited to modern bathroom renovations.
The Modern Tub Shower Kit also provides two different installation options for the overhead rainhead. An 18-inch round wall-mount shower arm with a square flange is included for wall installation. Alternatively, the supplied 4-inch round ceiling-mount shower arm allows the rainhead to be positioned directly overhead when a ceiling-mounted configuration better suits the bathroom layout.
For additional flexibility, the MiamiBox02 includes a three-function push-button handshower offering rain, mist, and jet spray settings. These options provide versatility for everyday showering, bathing assistance, and targeted rinsing. The handshower is paired with a 28-inch overall shower rail and adjustable square waterway, keeping it conveniently accessible while maintaining a coordinated installation.
A 7-inch square tub spout completes the bathtub portion of the system. The tub spout does not include an integrated diverter, as water outlet selection is controlled through the system's 3-way diverter. Its geometric profile coordinates naturally with the rectangular rainhead and square control trim.
The visible control assembly is constructed with solid brass square trim and includes a square handle set. Aquabrass also supplies an additional round handle set, allowing one handle style to be selected during installation and providing additional flexibility when coordinating the system with surrounding fixtures.
The polished nickel finish offers a sophisticated reflective appearance with a subtly warmer undertone than polished chrome. It pairs beautifully with marble-look porcelain, natural stone, quartz, warm wood vanities, glass shower enclosures, and neutral bathroom palettes.
This Modern Tub Shower Kit uses 1/2-inch NPT connections. Please note that the required Aquabrass T12123 Uniplex thermostatic rough-in valve is sold separately and must be purchased separately to complete the installation. Because the system incorporates concealed plumbing, three water outlets, and shared-function operation, professional installation by a licensed plumber is strongly recommended.
