Sonomi 59" Medium Brown Oak Dining Table - Mercana

Description
Create an inviting setting for everyday meals and memorable gatherings with the Sonomi 59" Medium Brown Oak Dining Table. Featuring a solid oak tabletop and sculptural solid rubberwood pedestal base, this elegant Round Oak Dining Table combines natural warmth, substantial construction, and refined architectural design.

The Sonomi showcases the distinctive grain patterns and organic tonal variations of genuine oak wood. Its warm medium brown finish brings depth and character to the dining room, creating a welcoming atmosphere for family meals and entertaining.

A rough wire-brushed texture enhances the tabletop's natural appearance, highlighting the individual grain patterns of the oak. This tactile finish introduces subtle visual interest while maintaining the table's sophisticated, understated character.

The generously proportioned round tabletop measures 59 inches in diameter and features a substantial 1.5-inch thickness. Its circular silhouette creates a softer alternative to rectangular dining furniture while offering generous space for dinnerware, serving pieces, and decorative centrepieces.

Without sharp corners, the tabletop encourages a comfortable and conversational dining arrangement. Guests can gather around the surface naturally, making the Sonomi particularly appealing for shared meals and relaxed entertaining.

Supporting the solid oak top is a distinctive geometric pedestal crafted from solid rubberwood. Its sculptural form introduces architectural interest while providing a substantial foundation beneath the dining surface.

Finished in a coordinating medium brown tone, the pedestal complements the tabletop's natural appearance. The combination of solid oak and rubberwood creates a balanced design with warmth, texture, and visual character.

Measuring 59 inches in diameter and 30 inches high, this Round Oak Dining Table comfortably accommodates up to six people. Its generous circular proportions make it suitable for spacious breakfast areas, dining rooms, and open-concept interiors.

The centrally positioned pedestal also provides flexibility when arranging dining chairs. Its architectural design creates a distinctive focal point without the visual interruption of conventional corner legs.

The fixed, non-extendable tabletop maintains a consistent dining surface without extension leaves. Its substantial construction and carefully balanced proportions create a timeless appearance suited to a variety of interior styles.

The Sonomi is crafted using kiln-dried wood, supporting the dimensional stability of its natural materials. Its solid wood construction celebrates the individual characteristics that make each table distinctive.

Because the natural wood surface is not rated as water-resistant, stain-resistant, or scratch-resistant, careful maintenance is particularly important. Spills should be cleaned promptly to help prevent damage to the finish.

Placemats, coasters, and trivets are recommended during meals to protect the tabletop from moisture, heat, and everyday contact. Gentle cleaning helps preserve the medium brown finish and distinctive wire-brushed texture.

Weighing approximately 136.03 pounds, the Sonomi features a removable pedestal base for assembly after delivery. Felt pads and plastic floor glides help reduce direct contact with suitable indoor flooring surfaces.

Partial assembly is required, with Mercana recommending two people and approximately 15 to 20 minutes for installation. An Allen key is included, and no additional tools are required. Power tools should be avoided during assembly.

Designed for indoor residential use, the Sonomi complements Scandinavian-inspired, organic modern, transitional, and modern rustic interiors. Its medium brown finish pairs beautifully with cream upholstery, natural woven textures, and complementary wood furniture.

Available from Canadian Renovation Superstore, the Sonomi Round Oak Dining Table combines a solid oak tabletop, textured medium brown finish, and sculptural rubberwood pedestal to create an elegant gathering place for everyday dining and special occasions. Free Shipping Across Canada.
