The MiamiBox01G features a 2-way non-shared diverter, allowing users to switch between the overhead rainhead and handshower according to their preferred showering experience. Because this is a non-shared configuration, only one shower outlet operates at a time. This distinguishes the MiamiBox01G from the shared MiamiBox01 configuration, which permits simultaneous operation of its two shower outlets.
A generously sized 14-inch by 8-inch rectangular ABS rainhead provides broad overhead water coverage for an immersive rainfall-style shower. Its elongated rectangular profile complements the geometric control trim and waterway, giving the overall installation a clean architectural character that works especially well in modern bathrooms and custom tiled showers.
The Thermostatic Rain Shower Kit provides two installation options for the overhead rainhead. An 18-inch round wall-mount shower arm and square flange are supplied for wall installation. Alternatively, the included 4-inch round ceiling-mount shower arm allows the rainhead to be installed directly overhead when a ceiling-mounted configuration better suits the bathroom layout.
For additional flexibility, the MiamiBox01G includes a three-function push-button handshower offering rain, mist, and jet spray settings. This provides convenient options for everyday showering, rinsing, and more targeted water delivery. The handshower is paired with a 28-inch overall shower rail and adjustable square waterway for a clean, coordinated installation.
The visible control assembly features solid brass square trim, complementing the strong geometric character of the system. A square handle set is included along with an additional round handle set, allowing one of the two handle styles to be selected during installation. This provides greater flexibility when coordinating the shower system with surrounding bathroom fixtures.
Aquabrass's brushed nickel finish provides a softly reflective metallic surface that is more subdued than polished chrome. Its versatile appearance coordinates beautifully with porcelain, marble-look tile, natural stone, quartz, warm wood cabinetry, and frameless glass shower enclosures.
The system uses 1/2-inch NPT connections and does not include a tub spout, making this configuration specifically intended for shower installations.
Please note that the required Aquabrass T12123 Uniplex thermostatic rough-in valve is sold separately and must be purchased separately to complete the installation. Due to the concealed plumbing, diverter, and multiple shower components, professional installation by a licensed plumber is strongly recommended.
