The centerpiece of the ShowerBox01G is its 12-inch round ABS rainhead, providing generous overhead water coverage for a comfortable rainfall-inspired shower experience. Its circular profile coordinates naturally with the round control trim, shower arms, handshower, and waterway, creating a consistent appearance throughout the installation.
Aquabrass includes two different options for mounting the rainhead. The supplied 18-inch round wall-mount shower arm and matching round flange allow the rainhead to extend comfortably into the shower enclosure from the wall. Alternatively, the included 4-inch round ceiling-mount shower arm allows the rainhead to be positioned directly overhead when ceiling mounting better suits the bathroom layout and plumbing design.
For greater everyday flexibility, this Thermostatic Rain Shower Kit includes a three-function push-button handshower with rain, mist, and jet spray settings. Users can easily select their preferred spray directly from the handshower, making it convenient for everyday bathing, targeted rinsing, and cleaning the shower enclosure.
The handshower is mounted on a 28-inch overall shower rail, providing convenient positioning for different users and showering preferences. An adjustable round waterway completes the assembly while maintaining the clean, curved styling found throughout the ShowerBox01G system.
An important feature of this model is its 2-way non-shared diverter, which controls the overhead rainhead and handshower. The ShowerBox01G is designed to operate one water outlet at a time. Users can switch between the rainhead and handshower, but the two outlets cannot operate simultaneously. This is the primary functional difference between the non-shared ShowerBox01G and the shared ShowerBox01 configuration.
The visible control assembly features solid brass round trim, coordinating with the circular rainhead, shower arms, handshower, rail, and waterway. Aquabrass's polished nickel finish provides a reflective metallic appearance with warmer undertones than traditional polished chrome. It pairs beautifully with marble-look porcelain, natural stone, quartz, warm wood cabinetry, frameless glass, and neutral bathroom surfaces.
This Thermostatic Rain Shower Kit requires the Aquabrass T12123 thermostatic rough-in valve, which is sold separately and must be purchased separately to complete the installation. Because concealed plumbing and correct installation of the non-shared diverter are required, professional installation by a licensed plumber is strongly recommended.
