Create an advanced multi-function shower system with the Aquabrass T12004 Turbo High-Flow Thermostatic Rough-In Valve with Four Independent Shut-Offs. Designed for concealed installation, this Thermostatic Shower Control Valve combines precise temperature regulation with four independently operated water-flow controls in one integrated assembly.
The high-flow Vernet thermostatic cartridge continuously balances incoming hot and cold water to help maintain the selected shower temperature. A factory-preset safety stop at approximately 38°C / 100°F helps prevent accidental selection of excessively hot water. Higher temperatures remain accessible through the compatible thermostatic trim.
Four integrated ceramic shut-off cartridges provide independent on-and-off control for four separate shower circuits. This arrangement accommodates elaborate shower systems incorporating a rainhead, handshower, body jets, and an additional showerhead or tub spout. Each circuit can operate individually, while multiple circuits can run simultaneously when adequate water pressure and supply capacity are available.
Every shut-off circuit features left- and right-side 1/2-inch female threaded outlet connections. Installers can select either connection to suit the plumbing layout or connect both sides of one circuit when two fixtures are intended to operate together. The eight physical side outlets therefore represent four independently controlled circuits, not eight independently selectable shower functions.
Manufactured in Italy, the nickel-plated solid brass rough-in body provides durable concealed construction. Universal hot and cold inlets accommodate both 1/2-inch female and 3/4-inch male threaded connections. The vertical water inlet configuration also supports an organized plumbing layout for complex shower installations.
Reversible service check valves incorporate integrated filters and improved service stops. These components provide maintenance access while helping protect the thermostatic cartridge from debris entering through the incoming water supply.
Designed for demanding shower installations, this Thermostatic Shower Control Valve delivers 12 gallons per minute at 45 PSI and up to 15 gallons per minute at 75 PSI. Actual performance when multiple circuits operate simultaneously depends on available water pressure, plumbing capacity, and the connected shower fixtures.
The concealed valve body measures 3-1/8 inches wide, 2-7/16 inches deep, and 16-1/8 inches high. Its specified rough-in depth ranges from 3-1/4 inches to 3-3/4 inches, allowing installers to position the assembly correctly before completing the finished shower wall.
The T12004 includes the high-flow thermostatic cartridge and four integrated ceramic shut-off cartridges. Compatible Aquabrass thermostatic and four-control shut-off trim sets are required to complete the installation and are sold separately. Shower fixtures and accessories must also be selected separately.
