Designed for concealed installation behind the finished wall, this Wall Mount Faucet Valve provides the functional foundation for a compatible Aquabrass faucet while keeping its plumbing components hidden from view.
Part of the Aquabrass ABGRP Propulse rough-in system, this assembly is designed specifically for compatible single-handle wall-mounted bathroom faucets. Its integrated mixing valve receives separate hot and cold water supplies and directs mixed water toward the wall-mounted spout.
Constructed from solid brass, the concealed valve body provides a durable foundation for everyday bathroom use. A replaceable ceramic cartridge is included, supporting smooth single-handle operation when the rough-in is paired with compatible Aquabrass decorative faucet trim.
The Wall Mount Faucet Valve features three 1/2-inch NPT connections: one hot-water inlet, one cold-water inlet, and one mixed-water outlet. This arrangement allows the concealed assembly to connect to the bathroom's water supplies and the separately purchased wall-mounted faucet spout.
An included protective construction cover helps shield the valve during installation and assists with positioning before the finished wall surface is completed. The rough-in is intended to remain concealed behind tile, stone, or another suitable bathroom wall finish.
The adjustable installation depth accommodates different wall assemblies and finishing materials. Aquabrass specifies a minimum installation depth of 2 inches and a maximum of 2-3/4 inches, providing flexibility when positioning the valve relative to the finished wall.
The complete rough-in measures 7 inches wide and 2-15/16 inches high. Its specified spout-to-control centre spacing is 4-5/16 inches, allowing installers to plan the placement of the visible faucet components accurately.
Aquabrass recommends a 1-5/8-inch wall opening for the spout connection and a 2-1/2-inch opening for the faucet control. These measurements should be incorporated into the installation plan before cutting the finished wall material.
Because the assembly is installed behind the bathroom wall, proper positioning and testing are essential. The water-supply lines should be flushed, and all plumbing connections should be securely installed and pressure-tested before the wall is permanently closed.
The RWUS51A5ZZ01 includes the concealed rough-in assembly, integrated mixing valve, replaceable ceramic cartridge, and protective construction cover. The decorative faucet handle, wall-mounted spout, escutcheons, drain, and other visible components are not included. Compatible Aquabrass faucet trim must be purchased separately.
Professional installation by a qualified plumber is recommended. Aquabrass provides a limited lifetime residential manufacturer warranty for the original purchaser and a two-year commercial warranty, subject to its warranty terms.
