white-marble-dining-table-maxwell-48-inch-light-brown
Maxwell 48" White Marble and Light Brown Wood Dining Table - Mercana

Description
Create an inviting dining space with the Maxwell 48" White Marble and Light Brown Wood Dining Table. Combining a genuine polished white marble tabletop with a sculptural light brown wood and black iron pedestal, this White Marble Dining Table introduces natural warmth, refined materials, and architectural elegance into your home.

The Maxwell features genuine white marble, distinguished by its naturally occurring veining, delicate mineral markings, and subtle colour variations. Each slab displays individual characteristics, ensuring every dining table has its own distinctive appearance. The polished finish enhances the stone's natural beauty while creating a sophisticated surface for everyday dining.

The tabletop features a food-safe finish and measures approximately 0.78 inches thick. Its smooth appearance complements the organic character of the marble, creating an elegant balance between natural materials and carefully considered design.

Supporting the marble is a substantial pedestal crafted from light brown solid wood with black iron detailing. Kiln-dried wood construction provides a strong foundation, while natural grain patterns and tonal variations introduce warmth and individuality.

The combination of light brown wood, white marble, and contrasting black iron creates a versatile design that complements modern, transitional, Scandinavian-inspired, and refined residential interiors. Its sculptural pedestal adds visual interest without overwhelming the surrounding dining space.

Measuring 48 inches in diameter and 30 inches high, this White Marble Dining Table comfortably accommodates up to four people. Its circular tabletop encourages conversation while providing space for dinnerware, serving dishes, and decorative centrepieces.

The centrally positioned pedestal eliminates conventional corner legs, offering comfortable legroom and flexibility when arranging dining chairs. Its balanced proportions make the Maxwell particularly suitable for breakfast areas, condominium dining rooms, and open-concept living spaces.

The fixed, non-extendable design maintains a clean silhouette without requiring additional leaves. Mercana specifies an overall and tabletop weight capacity of 125 pounds, making the table suitable for its intended residential dining application.

The polished marble surface is identified as water-resistant and scratch-resistant. However, natural marble is not classified as stain-resistant, so spills should be cleaned promptly. Appropriate stone care is recommended, particularly when serving acidic foods or strongly coloured beverages.

Felt protection pads beneath the pedestal help reduce direct contact with suitable flooring surfaces. The removable base also allows for assembly after delivery and careful positioning within the intended dining area.

Weighing approximately 273.37 pounds, the Maxwell requires careful handling during transportation and installation. Customers should consider doorway clearance, stairways, elevators, and the suitability of their chosen location before delivery.

Partial assembly is required, with Mercana recommending two-person installation and estimating approximately 15 minutes for completion. A 4mm Allen key and assembly instructions are included, with no additional tools required. Power tools should be avoided.

Designed for indoor residential use, the Maxwell pairs beautifully with cream upholstered dining chairs, natural wood flooring, warm neutral finishes, and understated black accents. Mercana provides a two-year manufacturer warranty, subject to its applicable terms.

Available from Canadian Renovation Superstore, the Maxwell White Marble Dining Table combines genuine natural stone, light brown solid wood, and black iron detailing to create an elegant gathering place for everyday meals and entertaining.
